Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to his employees in that employees were exposed to burn, fire and explosion hazards.    Kitchen: On or about 4/17/16, employees were attempting to relight the Blodgett 1048 Gas Deck Oven with the manual control valve in the "on" position, and as a result causing an accumulation of natural gas in the oven. This is not in accordance with the manufacturer's written operating instructions, and exposed the employees to burn hazards.
