29 CFR 1926.25(b): Safe means were not provided to facilitate removal of combustible scrap and debris: a) Jobsite: The employer did not provide safe means to ensure proper disposal of roofing materials. Employees were using shovels and metal containers to dump roofing materials from the unprotected edge of the flat roof into a dumpster located on the ground thus exposing employees to struck-by hazards. Roof was approx. 28 feet from the ground. Noted on or about 4/19/16.
