29 CFR 1926.451(c)(2): Supported scaffold poles, legs, posts, frames,  or uprights did not bear on base plates, mud sills or other adequate firm foundation:    (a) Back side, new residential construction located at 2161 Derbyshire Dr. SW, Marietta, GA 3064: Employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 14'4" while installing aluminum trim and soffit from a pump jack scaffold system which was not being supported on a base plates, or mud sills that make a firm foundation.

(a) Back side, new residential construction located at 2161 Derbyshire Drive, SW, Marietta, GA 30064: The support poles of the Alum-A-Pole Pump Jack Scaffold System were not secured at the bottom to prevent displacement and the support poles were not plumb and square as they were not secured properly exposing employees to fall hazards from possible collapse of the scaffold system.

(a) Back side, new residential construction located at 2161 Derbyshire Drive, SW, Marietta, GA: Employee was exposed to falls of approximately 14-feet, 4-inches while using a ladder jack scaffold support ladder as a means of access the scaffold platform. The employer failed to provide an additional ladder to access the ladder jack scaffold working platform.
