In accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete and must be included with your certification. This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase, or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.

29 CFR 1910.179(g)(1)(v): Pendant control box(es) were not clearly marked for identification of functions: (a) Bay 1- On April 28, 2016, the employer did not ensure that crane pendant control boxes for Crane 1 and 2 were clearly marked for identification of functions. (b) Bay 2- On April 28, 2016, the employer did not ensure that crane pendant control box for Crane 3 were clearly marked for identification of functions. Alin Machining Company, Inc. dba Power Plant Services was previously cited for a violation of this OSHA Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard, 29CFR 1910.179(g)(1)(v) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 929506, Citation number 1, Item number 6. The citation was issued on September 27, 2013, to the Alin Machining Company, Inc. dba Power Plant Services facility located at 3131 W. Soffel Avenue, Melrose Park, Illinois 60160.
