Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that an employee was exposed to amputation hazards while operating a chainsaw with one hand.  On May 5, 2016 an employee was observed operating a chainsaw with only his right hand while elevated in an aerial lift bucket at 10-16 "A" Street in Whitinsville, Massachusetts.  The employee was leaning from the bucket to cut a limb and was reaching to make the cut exposing him to amputation hazards.
