29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8):   The employer did not maintain in the workplace copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical, and did not ensure that they were readily accessible during each work  shift to employees when they were in their work area(s):  Safety data sheets for all chemical products, such as, but not limited to, sand and cement, which could contain silica, were not kept at the facility and were not readily available for employee review and for training.  (Safety data sheets my be used for training on the health hazards of crystalline silica.  The chemical hazard communication standard requires training on the health hazards of chemical products used in the workplace.)  Abatement documentation is required for this violation.
