29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1): Every open-sided floor or platform 4 feet or more above adjacent floor or ground level was not guarded by a standard railing (or the equivalent as specified in paragraph (e)(3) of this section) on all open sides: a) Ball Field parking lot on Shaker Rd., East Longmeadow, MA: On or about April 29, 2016, an employee was filling the pesticide tanks of a helicopter while standing on the open sided trailer bed the helicopter was parked on, more than 12 feet above the ground below. Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d)(1).
