29 CFR 1910.134(g)(1)(i)(A): Respirators with tight-fitting facepieces were worn by employees who had facial hair that came between the sealing surface of the facepiece and the face or that interfered with valve function: a) Shooting Range; Two employees wearing ½-mask tight fitting 3M 2091 P100 respirators while changing pre-filters and HEPA filters that collected excess airborne lead particulate from the shooting ranges as well as cleaning the shooting range (i.e. sweeping brass, lead dust and paper targets), turning the rubber backstop, and emptying the bullet traps had facial hair that interfered with the seal between the facepiece and face.

A wipe sample from the men's restroom door was collected on May 13, 2016 revealing 6.52 micrograms of lead present. b) Pistol Range: The employer did not ensure that surfaces were maintained free of lead accumulations. A wipe sample from the entry door handle was collected on May 13, 2016 revealing 42.57 micrograms of lead present. c) Shooting Range: The employer did not ensure that surfaces were maintained free of lead accumulations. A wipe sample from the floor at the Lane entry area was collected on May 17, 2016 revealing 15.64 micrograms milligrams of lead present. d) Shooting Range: The employer did not ensure that surfaces were maintained free of lead accumulations. A wipe sample from the floor near the Casing Machine was collected on May 17, 2016 revealing 2149 micrograms of lead present. e) Owner's Closet: The employer did not ensure that surfaces were maintained free of lead accumulations. A wipe sample from the floor near the full ammo cans was collected on May 17, 2016 revealing 126.2 micrograms of lead present. f) Owner's Closet: The employer did not ensure that surfaces were maintained free of lead accumulations. A wipe sample from the top of an ammo can was collected on May 17, 2016 revealing 252.5 micrograms of lead present.
