29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Employee(s) engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8m) or more above lower levels were not protected from falling by a guardrail system, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system: a) 3103 Paper Mill Rd, Wyomissing, PA - On May 11, 2016, employees engaged in roofing work (retrieving and positioning of hoisted materials) on a low slope roof with unprotected sides were exposed to fall hazards of 40 feet. The employer did not utilize a warning line system in conjunction with the safety monitor. No abatement certification or documentation required.
