29 CFR 1910.219(c)(2): All exposed parts of horizontal shafting seven (7) feet or less from floor or working platform, excepting runways used exclusively for oiling, or running adjustments, were not protected by a stationary casing enclosing shafing completely: Machine Shop: On or about May 18, 2016, employees were exposed to caught-by hazards, when the end of a rotating shaft on the CNC Deawoo Puma 250 was not provided with an enclosed casing, while employees work and walk by the rotating shaft.

29 CFR 1910.243(a)(3): Portable belt sanding machine(s) were not guarded at each nip point where the sanding belt runs onto the pulley(s): (a) Machine Shop: On or about May 18, 2016, employees were exposed to caught-by hazards, when using an Enco Belt Sander (model #163-4512, serial #10806), which was not provided with a guard on the ingoing nip point, to deburr small parts. (b) Machine Shop: On or about May 18, 2016, employees were exposed to caught-by hazards, when using a Terratek Belt Sander (serial #0006044), which was not provided with a guard on the ingoing nip point, to deburr small parts.
