29 CFR 1910.107(b)(9): A clear space of not less than 3 feet on all sides was not kept free from storage or combustible construction:  On or about May 16, 2016, an employee in the Fluid Bed Department was exposed to fire hazards due to 10 gallon cans that contained paint, boxes, and other combustible materials being stored less than 3 feet from the booth and the employer did not ensure all combustible materials was stored at least 3 feet away.  Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).

29 CFR 1910.132(a): Protective equipment was not used when necessary whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered:  On or about August 2, 2016, employees working in the Line 1 Powder Coating Booth were exposed to skin/respiratory irritation, dermatitis, and organ damage while using Sky White powder coating and Vulcan Black powder coating and the employer did not ensure employees were required to wear a tyvek suit and sleeves when using these products.  Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
