29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: In workplace located at 21410 Southwest 89th RD, Beatrice, NE 68310 the employer is failing to protect employees from amputation, crushing and caught-in hazards for the following instances: 1) The back side of the #2 hydraulic dry ice block press manufactured by the Wood company is not guarded to prevent employees from accessing the point of operation. 2) The back side of the #3 hydraulic dry ice block press manufactured by the Baldwin company is not guarded to prevent employees from accessing the point of operation. 3) The back side of the #4 hydraulic dry ice block press manufactured by the Baldwin company is not guarded to prevent employees from accessing the point of operation.
