29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measures a) 58 Moorlinch blvd, Medford NJ: On or about 4/7/16, Liberty Home Remodeling, LLC. employees were engaged in residential construction activities. Two employees were observed installing new shingles on the roof. The workers were not protected by guard rails, PFAS, or any form of fall protection and were thus exposed to a fall hazard greater than 15 feet to the ground surface below. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: a) 58 Moorlinch Blvd, Medford NJ: On or about 4/7/16, Liberty Home Remodeling, LLC. employees were engaged in residential construction activities. Two employees were observed installing new shingles on the roof. The workers were not protected by guard rails, PFAS, or any form of fall protection and were thus exposed to a fall hazard greater than 15 feet to the ground surface below. Employees had not received training in the recognition and avoidance of fall hazards. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
