29 CFR 1926.451(g)(4)(i): Guardrail systems were not installed along all open sides and ends of platforms. a- 42 Robbinsville - Edinborough Road, Robbinsville NJ: An employee was exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 13 feet to the ground surface below, while performing siding installation from a pump jack scaffold that was missing end stops and a midrail/screen that extended the full distance of the walking/working surface. Condition observed on or about 05/24/16. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.454(a): The employer did not have each employee who performed work while on a scaffold trained by a person qualified in the subject matter to recognize the hazards associated with the type of scaffold being used and to understand the procedures to control or minimize those hazards. a- 42 Robbinsville - Edinborough Road, Robbinsville NJ: An employee was exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 13 feet to the ground surface below, while performing siding installation from a pump jack scaffold that was missing end stops and a midrail/screen that extended the full distance of the walking/working surface. The exposed employee had not received scaffold hazard recognition training from the company. Condition noted on or about 05/24/16. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM.
