The coated textile fabric in the heat press department emits formaldehyde when heated. in addition, alcohols, printing inks and cleaners are used at the facility. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and state employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. MODIFIED DUE TO INFORMAL 12/19/16 The violation description is amended to read The employer did not develop and implement a written chemical hazard communication for employees exposed to chemical hazards in the print department.
