29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(1)(i): Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, were not equipped with at least one handrail: (a) On or about May 25, 2016 and at times prior thereto, employees were exposed to fall and trip hazards when ascending and descending the stairs from the first to the second floor, while installing HVAC materials on the second floor, where no handrail was installed along the stairs. NOTE: Abatement certification is required for this item.
