Violation was observed on or about 5/4/2016.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) Worksite was located at 801 Jersey Avenue, Jersey City, NJ 07310. An employee was exposed to fall hazards as he was assigned to take down guardrail posts on the roof and was not wearing fall protection when he walked to the leading edge to drop a 2x4 down to the next lower level exposing him to a fall of 14 feet to the concrete floor below. Violation was observed on or about 5/4/2016. b) Worksite was located at 801 Jersey Avenue, Jersey City, NJ 07310. An employee was exposed to fall hazards as he was assigned to take the construction debris out to the dumpster and was not wearing fall protection when he walked across the top of one dumpster being used as a work platform exposing him to a fall of 6 feet 6 inches to the stone covered ground below. Violation was observed on or about 5/4/2016. c) Worksite was located at 801 Jersey Avenue, Jersey City, NJ 07310 An employee was exposed to fall hazards as he was not protected by fall protection while working in proximity to the unguarded leading edge of the building seven stories up from the ground. Violation was observed on or about 5/4/2016. White Diamonds Properties, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1033307, Citation Number 2, Item Number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 05/06/2015 with respect to a workplace located at 831 Jersey Avenue, Jersey City, NJ 07310
