29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(1)(ii): Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, were not equipped with a stairrail system along each unprotected side or edge.    a) Worksite was located at 801 Jersey Avenue, Jersey City, NJ 07310.    Employees were exposed to fall hazards as the north stair tower between the 19th floor and the landing above the 18th floor did not have a stairrail installed to guard the unprotected edge.    Violation was observed on or about 5/4/2016.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.    a) Worksite was located at 801 Jersey Avenue, Jersey City, NJ 07310.    An employee was exposed to fall hazards as he was assigned to take down guardrail posts on the roof and was not wearing fall protection when he walked to the leading edge to drop a 2x4 down to the next lower level exposing him to a fall of 14 feet to the concrete floor below.    Violation was observed on or about 5/4/2016.    b) Worksite was located at 801 Jersey Avenue, Jersey City, NJ 07310.    An employee was exposed to fall hazards as he was assigned to take the construction debris out to the dumpster and was not wearing fall protection when he walked across the top of one dumpster being used as a work platform exposing him to a fall of 6 feet 6 inches to the stone covered ground below.    Violation was observed on or about 5/4/2016.
