OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):     The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to being struck by bar stock when loading and unloading the stock into a cradle weigh station with powered industrial trucks.    A. On or about June 6, 2016: During the process of removing bar stock from a cradle weigh station, the stock came off the forklift and fell to the floor.    Feasible methods of abatement include:    1. Retrain and evaluate industrial truck operators to insure that the capacities of the powered industrial trucks are not exceeded.    2. Determine the maximum safe capacities of the cradles and make sure the load ratings are printed on the cradles.    3. Insure that all loads placed in the cradles do not exceed their design ratings.    4. Where applicable, secure the cradles to the scale to prevent tipping in the event that they are struck by external forces.
