29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain programs which provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials and equipment to be made by a competent person(s): The employer allows workers to be exposed to hazardous conditions created by not conducting frequent or regular inspections. The most recent occurrence was at 1108 Mendoza Drive, St. Peters, MO 63376, where they failed to make frequent or regular inspections of the worksite to ensure all workers were in compliance with OSHA standards. The workers were exposed to a fall hazard ranging from approximately 10 feet to 12 feet as they were performing residential roofing activities on an approximate 6:12 pitch without the use of any fall protection system. In addition, employees failed to wear eye protection while operating nail guns to perform roofing operations.
