29 CFR 1910.95(k)(1): The employer did not train each employee who is exposed to noise at or above an 8-hour time-weighted average of 85 decibels in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1910.95(k): a) Bartash Printing Inc., 5400 Grays Ave., Philadelphia, PA site - T2, T1 and T3 Press Areas: The Employer did not provide a training program for employees exposed noise levels above 85 dBA. An employee working in the Operator Area of T2, T1 and T3 press area was exposed to continuous noise level of 87.7 dBA for an 8-hour TWA, which is equivalent to a dose of 73.3%. This exposure exceeds the Action Level of 85 dBA. Sampling time was 473 minutes. Zero exposures was assumed for all unsampled time periods. Violation noted on/about June 28, 2016.
