OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees caring for and supervising clients were exposed to assaults from clients with a history of violent attacks against staff members: a) On or about May 10, 2016, employees providing care to clients at the DayHab facility was exposed to the hazard of workplace violence including hitting and slapping resulting in complications from an ankle and knew injury.
