OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to fall hazards:  a) On or about 6/10/16 at a field near Picketline Road, Nunda, New York; employees were assisting passengers exit the basket of a hot air balloon after landing in the field. As the passengers exited the basket, the balloon began to ascend. A crew member attempted to secure the balloon and was carried airborne while hanging on to the handling ropes at the base of the basket. The employee lost his grip and fell approximately 100 feet.  ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED
