Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a. On or about June 14, 2016 - at the above addressed jobsite, employees performing roofing operations approximately sixteen (16) feet six (6) inches above the ground, were not protected from falls, thereby exposing the employees to fall hazards.
