29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was six or more feet (1.8m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On June 13, 2016, on the second level of a commercial building under construction, employees were exposed to fall hazards while installing rafters 12 feet above the ground level. The employees were not protected from falling by the use of a guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.
