29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) Ace Roofing & Construction on or about June 21, 2016, at the address of 5542 Fremont Pike Perrysburg, OH: The employer did not ensure employees were protected from falls while performing roofing activities atop a steep sloped commercial type structure. Employees removing old roofing material from atop the structure were exposed to falls up to 18 ft. to the ground below.
