OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to the hazard of heat-related illness: a) On or about 6/14/2016 at job site located at 1455 Werner Drive in Alva, Florida. Employees pouring concrete were exposed to heat-related hazards without adequate provisions to protect them. The employer failed to provide effective training associated with elements such as but not limited to the recognition, prevention, and treatment of heat related illnesses.
