29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1) The employer shall provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards.    a)    Fort Belvoir, Fairfax County Public School: On or about June 20, 2016, employees were installing metal panels on a low sloped roof and were not protected from a possible fall, as a result were exposed to a 19 and 25.8 feet fall hazard.    Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.    R.D. Bean, Incorporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1049906, citation number 1, item number 1 and affirmed as a final order on 05/12/2015, with respect to a workplace located at1440 14th Street, NW Washington, DC 20005.
