OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that employees were exposed to slip and trip hazards: (a) On or about 06/20/2016 - Employees serving customers were walking across a rug on a regular basis that could be displaced when transitioning through the vestibule(s) between the dining room and kitchen. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard would be to change rugs/mats on a regular schedule and replace with Steady Step non-slip rugs with molded suction cups (certified by the National Floor Safety Institute).
