Flushing, NY Employees working an unprotected trench 20' x 12' x 12 ft. in depth were exposed to the hazard of a cave-in. A competent person did not conduct an inspection prior to the start of work. ABATEMENT VERIFICATION IS REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19.
