Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  a.     On or about June 24, 2016, at the above address, employees were performing roofing work on a commercial building. Employees were not utilizing fall protection and were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 9.8 feet.  Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
