29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):     a) On or about June 22, 2016 and at times prior thereto Bach Homes LLC did not ensure that its sub-contractor protected its employees from exposure to fall hazards of 9 feet and greater than 20 feet while installing floor joists, floor sheathing, and while constructing walls on the third floor, where a guardrail system was only partially erected, and where no other means of fall protection was used.    b) On or about June 22, 2016 and at times prior thereto Bach Homes LLC did not ensure that its sub-contractor protected its employees from exposure to fall hazards of greater than 10 feet while cutting packing and blocks for floor joists, and while installing floor joist hardware, where no guardrails were installed at second floor wall openings, and where no other means of fall protection was used.    Bach Homes LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 597278, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on November 13, 2012, with respect to a workplace located at the 3400 E River Valley, Meridian, ID.    NOTE-Abatement documentation and certification are required for this item.
