29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) North Side, 2nd Floor - on or about June 22, 2016, employees engaged in residential construction activities were accessing the second floor via an extension ladder to an upper landing area with an unguarded floor edge, approximately nine feet above the lower level, which was not protected to prevent falling to the lower level. b) North Side, 3rd Floor - on or about June 22, 2016, employees engaged in residential construction activities were accessing the third floor via an extension ladder to an upper landing area with an unguarded floor edge, approximately nine feet above the lower level, which was not protected to prevent falling to the lower level. c) South Side, 2nd Floor - on or about June 22, 2016, employees engaged in residential construction activities were accessing the second floor via an extension ladder to an upper landing area with an unguarded floor edge, approximately nine feet above the lower level, which was not protected to prevent falling to the lower level.
