29 CFR 1918.105(b)(1): The employer did not provide personal flotation devices (PFDs) for each employee engaged in work in which the employee might have fallen into the water. a) American Marine Group, Elizabeth River: On or about 06/24/2016, employees engaged in the transfer of wood pilings from barge to barge were not wearing a personal flotation device as a result employees were exposed to an approximate 6 feet fall into water approximately 15 feet deep. No abatement certification or documentation required.
