There was no fall protection equipment or fall protection systems in use at the time of observation. Abatement certification for this violation is not required.

29 CFR 1926.503(c)(3): Inadequacies in an affected employee's knowledge or use of fall protection systems or equipment indicate that the employee has not retained the requisite understanding or skill: (a) On June 21, 2016, at the jobsite located at 12719 E 47th Terrace Ct, Kansas City, MO., employees lack of knowledge and the lack of using fall protection indicated that they had not retained the understanding and skill from previous training to prevent fall injuries. Workers were exposed to fall hazard injuries while engaged in roofing activities from a low pitched roof. There were no fall protection equipment or fall protection systems in use at the time of observation. Abatement certification for this violation is not required.
