29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE): (a) At the establishment, employees using inadequate Restaurant Direct rubber gloves while operating the 84" long by 24" deep Stainless Steel Custom built stove, model TR-3, were exposed to burn hazards when handling hot food items. (b) At the establishment, employees operated a Custom Stainless Steel stove without appropriate gloves(mitts) when removing hot food exposing the employees to burn hazards.
