29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE): Sales and Service Facility - The employer did not perform a PPE hazard assessment of the workplace to determine if there were hazards present that would cause issues such as hearing loss, dermatitis, respiratory distress and eye injuries that would necessitate the need for personal protective equipment for its employees. Ellsworth Farm Products, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1086530, Citation 1, Item 1, and was affirmed as a final order on October 20, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 269 High Street in Ellsworth, Maine.
