29 CFR 1910.22(d)(1): On every building or other structure, or part thereof, used for mercantile, business, industrial or storage purposes, the loads approved by the building official were not marked on plates of approved design and securely affixed in a conspicuous place in each space to which they relate.  Employees working beneath the upper mezzanine level used for storage in the stock room were exposed to engulfment in that the load rating had not been accessed nor signage posted indicating the applicable load limits.

29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1): Open-sided floors and/or platforms four feet or more above adjacent floor or ground level were not guarded with standard railings (or equivalent) and toeboards.   Employees working on the upper mezzanine level used for storage in the stock room were exposed to fall hazards in that no guard railing system was in place to prevent falls.

No aisles ways were established or maintained to allow unimpeded access to the shelving.

This was most recently documented where employees were exposed to electrical shock hazards in that the space in front of the electrical panel, located in the storage room, was used for storage of a cart containing merchandise.   DOLGENCORP, LLC was previously cited for a serious violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1082459, citation number 1, item number 4 C and was affirmed as a final order on 2/09/2016, with respect to a workplace located at 219 O'Fallon Plaza, O Fallon, MO 63366.  DOLGENCORP, LLC was previously cited for a repeat violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1057045, citation number 2, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 11/05/2015, with respect to a workplace located at 700 S. 4th Street, Hamburg, PA 19526.  DOLGENCORP, LLC was previously cited for a repeat violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1008065, citation number 2, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 09/06/2015, with respect to a workplace located at 1679 Pulaski Highway, Bear, DE 19701.
