29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  a.  On or about June 29, 2016, at the carpentry shop of above addressed jobsite, an employee was exposed to caught and struck by hazards while working with a drill press (i.e. 50-XL001701) that had lacked a point of operation guard.   b.  On or about June 29, 2016, at the carpentry shop of above addressed jobsite, an employee was exposed to caught and struck by hazards while working with a drill press (i.e. CH-16N) that had lacked a point of operation guard.

29 CFR 1910.213(d)(1): Circular handfed crosscut table saw(s) were not guarded by an automatically adjusting hood which completely enclosed that portion of the saw above the table and above the material being cut:  a.  On or about June 29, 2016, at the carpentry shop of above addressed jobsite, employees were exposed to a caught by hazard while working with a table saw that lacked a guard over the blade.

On or about June 29, 2016, at the carpentry shop of above addressed jobsite, an employee was exposed to a caught by hazards while working with a jointer  (i.e. LOBO power tools, no serial number) whose guard did not cover the horizontal cutting head automatically.
