The employer shall also inform employees of the person responsible for maintaining and providing access to records.

29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): The employer did not maintain copies of the required material safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical in the workplace: (Construction Reference: 1926.59) Wipro LLC, Atlanta, GA - The employer did not obtain safety data sheets for employees adjacent to the construction areas. Hazardous chemicals in the workplace include, but are not limited to, construction dust and debris, paints, wallpaper glue, wallpaper sprays, adhesive glue, plumbing compounds, etc. Safety data sheets were not provided at the facility at the time of initial assignment or whenever a new hazard was introduced by the adjacent construction contractor. Employees were experiencing symptoms to include, but were not limited to headaches, sinus infections, throat irritation, burning eyes, and other respiratory problems while construction contractors were above and adjacent to employees, on or about May-July2016.

Hazardous chemicals in the workplace include, but are not limited to, construction dust and debris, paints, wallpaper glue, wallpaper sprays, adhesive glue, plumbing compounds, etc. Training was not provided at the facility at the time of initial assignment or whenever a new hazard was introduced by the adjacent construction contractor.
