Employees, without hardhats, were engaged in framing activities while other employees worked above were exposed to struck-by hazards.

29 CFR 1926.405(g)(2)(iv): Flexible cords were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided to prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws:  Employees engaged in framing operations were exposed to electrical shock hazards when a flexible cord did not have strain relief.

Employees engaged in framed activities were exposed to struck-by hazards while using pneumatic nail guns without eye protection.  Sanchez Framing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 981656, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 09/29/2014, with respect to a workplace located at 5 La Promesa, Odessa, TX.

Employees engaged in residential framing activities were exposed to fall hazards in excess of six feet.  Sanchez Framing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(2)(ii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 981656, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 09/29/2014, with respect to a workplace located at 5 La Promesa, Odessa, TX.
