29 CFR 1910.213(c)(1): Circular handfed ripsaw(s) were not guarded by an automatically adjusting hood which completely enclosed that portion of the saw above the table and above the material being cut: On or about June 29, 2016, at the above addressed jobsite, employees were operating a sliding table saw (circular hand-fed ripsaw), which was not equipped with an operable hood/guard, to cut material such as but not limited to; Styrofoam, cardboard, plywood and other pieces of material/lumber, which were then used to make furniture, therefore exposing the employees to amputation hazards. REPEAT: Nautical Furnishings, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1910.213(d)(1), or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 692138, citation number 01, Item number 001, and was affirmed as a final order on 12/21/2012 with respect to a workplace located at 3111 W. McNab Road, Pompano Beach, Florida.
