29 CFR 1910.94(a)(2)(ii): The concentration of respirable dust or fume in the breathing zone of the abrasive-blasting operator or any other worker was not kept below the levels specified in 1910.1000: a) In the sandblasting booth, on or about July 14, 2016 - An employee designated as a sandblaster had an exposure to Silica at an airborne concentration of 113.8 mg/m3. This is approximately 22.76 times the permissible exposure limit of 5 mg/m3. Sampling was conducted on July 14, 2016 for 190 minutes and zero exposure was assumed for the unsampled portion of the shift.
