29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  a) On July 11, 2016, employees were exposed to falling up to 40 feet from unguarded platforms to the concreted asphalt below; without any fall protection methods or devices implemented at the job site.  10Sixty Telecom Solutions Llc was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number836804, citation number 01, item number 002 and was affirmed as a final order on January 12, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 920 E. Northwest Highway in Palatine, Illinois 60074.
