29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) On or about 7/12/16, at a residential roofing site located at 5594 Lake Avenue, Orchard Park, NY. Employees, on a 9 in 12 roof performing tear-off of the shingles, were not protected by fall protection systems. Employees were exposed to falls of 14 feet. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED RWB Roofing & Construction, Inc was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1110349, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 2/16/16, with respect to a workplace located at 6715 Main Street, Williamsville, New York.
