These exposures occurred while mixing chemicals, bagging chemicals, and unloading the chemicals into the storage area by truck and barge. Due to the chemical reactivity with water and the amount of water on the floors and moisture in the air, there was a potential for air contaminant hazards, which included, but were not limited to ammonia to accumulate in the basement pit. No evaluation for chemical exposures had been performed by the employer.    The Frick Services, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1910.134(d)(1)(iii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 992691, citation number 1, item number 1b and was affirmed as a final order on September 23, 2015 with respect to a workplace located at 800 Sun Drive, Portage, IN 46368.
