29 CFR 1910.95(c)(1): The employer did not administer a continuing, effective hearing conservation program as described in 29 CFR 1910.9(c) through (o) whenever employee noise exposures equal or exceed an 8-hour time-weighted average sound level of 85 decibels measured on the A scale, or equivalently a dose of fifty percent: a) On or about 11/10/16 - The lead web press operator was exposed to noise at 102.8% of the allowable 8-hour time weighted average sound level of 85 dBA or an equivalent sound level of approximately 90.2 dBA. The sampling was performed for 403 minutes during one shift on 11/10/16. Zero was assumed for the unsampled time of 77 minutes. b) On or about 11/10/16 - The assistant web press operator was exposed to noise at 71.0 % of the allowable 8-hour time weighted average sound level of 85 dBA or an equivalent sound level of approximately 87.5 dBA. The sampling was performed for 377 minutes during one shift on 11/10/16. Zero was assumed for the unsampled time of 103.
