29 CFR 1926.701(b): All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and/or into which employees could fall or come against, was not guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement: (a) North Jobsite - On or about July 26, 2016 employees were exposed to an impalement hazard while entering and exiting an excavation. A 3 foot high unprotected rebar was located at the base of the excavation.
