29 CFR 1917.42(g)(2)(vi): Synthetic web slings were not removed from service when warning threads designed to indicate excessive wear or damage became visible. a) Elizabeth River Terminal, Vessel Voula Seas: On or about 06/13/2016, employees used yellow synthetic web slings with exposed warning thread to unloading bulk cargo as a result employees were potentially exposed to possible injuries. No abatement certification or documentation required.
