OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees when the lathe was setup and used in an unsafe manner: a) Lathe: On or about July 9, 2016, the employer did not ensure the lathe was setup and used safely when the tail stock was not used which exposed contracted employees to lathe related hazards such as but not limited to being struck by an ineffectively secured round metal stock.
